RJ Dumpster Rental owns and operates our own fleet
RJ Dumpster Rental Littleton owns and operates our own trucks and roll-off containers out of our yard at 5547 S Grant St, Littleton, CO 80121, serving Littleton, Colorado and the rest of the south Denver metro. We do not connect customers with third-party haulers or independent providers. Every container you rent from us is delivered, serviced, collected and disposed of by our own team.
General information only
The content on rjdumpsterrentallittleton.com — including our guides, blog articles, size charts, weight estimates and location pages — is published for general informational purposes to help you plan and describe your job accurately when you call. It reflects general industry practice around Littleton and the south Denver metro, but it is not professional advice, and specific pricing, availability and container terms are confirmed directly with you by our team before delivery.
How local government actually works around Littleton
Colorado has real, active county government covering every square mile of the state. The CITY of Littleton itself is genuinely unusual — its own municipal boundary spans THREE counties (Arapahoe, where our own yard sits, plus Jefferson and Douglas), and this site's service area follows suit, drawing real communities from all three. Several of the communities we serve — Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Englewood, Sheridan, Ken Caryl, Bow Mar, Morrison, Indian Hills, Golden and Conifer — are incorporated cities or towns, each with its own real municipal government, while others are UNINCORPORATED, meaning they have no separate city or town government at all and are governed directly by their county, sometimes alongside a special-purpose metro or ranch district that runs community facilities like parks and trails without being a municipal government. Neither shape is ever mislabeled here — see the location table on our service area page for each community's real government status and official site.
Regulations change
Permit requirements, right-of-way rules, disposal fees, recycling programs and weather-related road restrictions are set by each city, town, county or state government, not by us, and they change without notice. Anything we say about them is our general understanding at the time of writing. Always confirm current requirements directly with the relevant authority before you rely on it:
- City of Littleton, CO — permits, right-of-way and city services for Littleton
- Arapahoe County, CO Government — Arapahoe County government, a genuine governing authority for county roads and unincorporated-area matters
- Colorado Dept. of Public Health & Environment - Solid Waste — Colorado solid waste and hazardous materials regulation
- Colorado Dept. of Public Health & Environment - Recycling — Colorado recycling and diversion guidance
- Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) — Colorado road and right-of-way information
- Colorado 811 - Call Before You Dig (call 811) — call 811 before any digging
Jefferson County government (jeffco.us) and Douglas County government (douglasco.gov) handle county-road and unincorporated-area matters for the parts of our service area that fall outside Arapahoe County — see the location table on our service area page for the specific link per community. Any city or town listed there may set its own permit or right-of-way rule that differs from Littleton's — when in doubt, call that community's own office directly rather than assuming our own city's rule applies elsewhere.
Estimates are estimates
Container dimensions, capacities, weight allowances, project sizing guidance and any prices or price ranges shown on this site are approximate, general to the industry, and provided to help you describe your job when you call. Actual debris weights vary enormously with moisture, material and age — hail-damaged roofing debris and storm-soaked material in particular. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding quotation. A rate is only binding once it is confirmed directly with you by our team.
Permit and placement responsibility
Unless we specifically agree in writing to secure a permit on your behalf, responsibility for any required placement permit — and for confirming whether one is needed for your address — rests with you, the customer. On private property, no permit is generally required anywhere we deliver; placement on a public street is where a permit most often applies, and which office to contact depends on the specific city, town or county authority involved — see the list above.
Colorado Front Range weather and wildfire season
The south Denver metro and the foothills beyond see real seasonal weather — a genuine hail season, sudden high-altitude and mountain-adjacent conditions, and a dry summer stretch that raises genuine wildfire-season defensible-space concerns — and that is a genuine, current factor in scheduling here, not a distant risk. We will delay or reschedule a delivery, service or pickup ahead of unsafe road, storm or fire-weather conditions where we judge it necessary, and we are not liable for delay caused by severe weather or its aftermath (see our Terms & Conditions, force majeure).
Not engineering or safety advice
Guidance on driveway loading, demolition, roof work, mold, asbestos, hazardous materials and wildfire defensible-space clearing is general in nature. Structural, environmental and safety questions should be referred to a qualified professional — a structural engineer, a licensed abatement contractor, a wildfire-mitigation specialist, or your local building department as appropriate. See OSHA for workplace safety requirements.
